About us

The history of Dietrich Brass began in 1993 when Ulrich Pfreimbtner founded the company.

To this day, artisanal craftsmanship, in-house development, and close collaboration with musicians remain at the heart of our work.

  • Ulrich Pfreimbtner set up his own business in Vilshofen in May 1993
  • Since 2000 new company in Künzing
  • Development and manufacturing of our own rotary valve machines since 2008
  • September 2022 Transfer to Johannes Dietrich
  • March 2026: Relocation of operations to Zeilitzheim in Lower Franconia
